Cross Country ran in the Rosemead Invitational meet on Saturday the 9th,2017. The sophomores, who ran as a whole, took third place in the meet, while the freshman took second place. SEASON REVIEW: BOYS/GIRLS XC

In the 2016 season for Cross Country, the Lancers had a dominating season as they raced against their Del Rio league schools and other schools from other cities. They have raced in many invitationals such as Rosemead, Woodbridge, Brea Olinda and Mt.Sac. The Varsity boys and girls both went to CIF this year in Riverside.

La Serna’s last league cross country race is coming up on Wednesday, November 2.  The League Finals will be held at Legg Lake in San Gabriel.  The Lancers are trying to capitalize on the success they had last week.  The varsity girls scored in the middle for their competition earning 5 points. On Saturday, October 1,The Lancers Cross Country team raced at the Brea Olinda Invitational at Carbon Canyon Park. Esteban Barrera who placed 1st for the La Serna freshmen ran a time of 17:36.59 and also led a dominating freshmen team to a 2nd place finish; just 5 points behind Brea Olinda.
