What is your name, age, and grade?

My name is Austin Burrows, I am 17, and I am a senior.

What position do you play? 

I play defensive end.

How is your relationship with the coaches?

My relationship with my coaches is pretty good.

How is your relationship with your teammates? 

My relationship with my teammates is pretty good as well. 

What does being captain mean to you?

It means that I am responsible for leading my teammates and helping them every step of the way.

Which game are you looking forward to the most?

The game against Warren.

Why did you start playing football?

I became interested in the game after my dad introduced me to it.

How old were you when you started playing football?

When I was 6 years old.

How has your family supported you through football?

They have encouraged me to keep playing the game

Where do you want to go to college? 

Anywhere that will accept me.

Where do you see yourself going with football? 

I see my team as well as myself winning a league championship 

What has been the most challenging thing about football?

The commitment..

Have you had to deal with any injuries?

 Yes (shoulder, knee).

What do you love about football? 

The relationships I have built over the years.

If you could play any other sport, what would it be? 

Golf because I wouldn’t have to run anymore.
