I play tennis

What position do you play?

I play doubles

How long have you played?

I have played tennis for about 6 years

Is there anything specific you hate about practices/games?

I don’t like running at practices

Do you have good chemistry with your teammates/bonding activities often?

Yes, my teammates have good chemistry with each other. We work together as a team to win.

Your favorite move and describe it?

My favorite move is my volleys. I like to hit sharp volleys in between my opponents so they can’t get to the ball.

What was the best play you remember?

The best play I made was hitting a strong, fast serve and ace my opponent.

What match are you most looking forward to this year and why?

The match I am most looking forward to this year is against El Rancho because they are a great match-up.

Is there anything specific you want to achieve this year by yourself or as a team?

I want to be a more competitive player with my doubles partner and make it further in CIF as a team.

Do you have a pregame routine?

I like to listen to music before a game

Do you have any plans for college/have you gotten any offers from colleges?

I am going to attend a JC, then transfer to another college. I have gotten emails from colleges, but they’re all in the East coast.

What is your strong suit while playing?

My strong suit is volleying the ball offensively.

Any extra curricular activities? Clubs job etc

I am in Key Club.

Who is your favorite role model/athlete?

My favorite athlete is Roger Federer.

What are three things your sport has taught you about life?

Tennis has taught me self-discipline, building my character, and how to play under pressure.
